It was very quiet, not many people d/t rebuilding since the hurricane a couple years ago. The shells were abundant. Sunsets are amazing
Definitely visit the ding darling reserve. We went 4 times. $ 10.00 a day and you can come and go best money spent

Very clean. Air conditioning was great. We had room 3. Loved having the bikes on the property to use. Would definitely recommend this to friends. Overall esthetics, I’d give 10 out of 10.

This was a family trip for my Mom, my Aunt, and myself. My Mom has arthritis, so next time we might need to book closer to the beach. The apartment is beautiful and pristine, all top of the line appliances and the mattresses were AMAZING. Really cute place, but might be better for a younger crowd unless there is transport to the beach. That is not at all a complaint- I should have checked the distance before booking, for younger folks the walk to the beach is no problem! But us older crowd, lol, we need help. Thank you for providing a beautiful apartment, and all the best to you and everyone on Sanibel. #Sanibel Strong 🦩🩷🌺

Sanibel is still a great place to vacation.
Sanibel is still a great place to vacation. Although it is heartbreaking to see all the damage from the hurricane, it's still a great option. We've been going to Sanibel for about 8 years and it's our happy place. We can't wait for the island to renew itself.

Sanibel is a beautiful island, so relaxing as soon as you get there! The island is so well maintained and driving is easy.
The cycle paths are fantastic too and my preferred way of exploring the island.
Lots of accommodation and restaurant choices.
Plenty of wildlife to see and it is superb for shelling. I only spent 3 nights here but I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday. I hope to return one day!
Wie always choose this hotel on Sanibel: Awesome beautiful place and houses, built and decorated with much love, utilities for shelling on site (a washplace for shells is outstanding!), own grassland with showers and hammrock, directly behind the beach, quiet location, bar (Crazy Flamingo) reachable by foot and the staff is really nice! An 0815 ibis hotel room in a concrete building you can have everywhere, but this nice cottages are extraordinary!
The Condo unit was nice,…the location on the Island was good. It took a long time to figure out how to work the televisions The furniture was updated and comfortable and it was well decorated unit with lots of nice signs and pictures on the walls. Good decorating. The pricing was higher than it should’ve been, we were not on the beach,…you had to walk aways to the beach or to get to the very small the pool.
This resort was one of the few now opened 15 months after Hurricane Ian. There was nothing at all wrong with the facility; it was just not the cottage like facility we had patronized for the previous 27 years. Our “resort” was the Castaways. Hurricane Ian removed that completely from existence. Sanibel island Beach Resort is a hotel with direct access to the beach.
The location was great being on the beach and facing the pool. Although we were in the back building, it was not a far walk to the beach but right at the entrance to the property, which was very quiet. The stairs were right next to our room, which was convenient since we brought our dog with us. The whole condo was clean and had everything we needed.
The location of the resort was perfect, right on the beach and pool right next door to building. The grounds were exceptional, very clean and well taken care of. Beautiful landscaping just like a tropical island. The room was amazing-updated and very clean. The staff were phenomenal, so helpful and accommodating.
From our room on to the beach in less than 5 minutes walking. Gorgeous beach with sooo many seashells to collect. Children loved the main pool and the ice cream shop within the hotel. Amazing assistance at the hotel. We had a wifi connection problem and the engineer came to our room at 10 pm to help us fix it.
Access to Kayaks and paddleboards, outdoor games. Location right on the beach. Many bicycles of all kinds available for use. Friendly staff including Michael and Benito setting up beach umbrellas and lounge chairs daily. Enjoyed dining at Dante's onsite for dinner one night and breakfast another morning.
we loved our stay- we had had another night elsewhere on Sanibel which was more than double the price with appealing customer service. We were checked in early and were given a personal tour - it felt that nothing was too much trouble! we loved the wildlife area too
Really lovely place with great facilities. So nice to see it recovering from the hurricane. Really welcoming atmosphere and we will definitely be back to stay on Sanibel in the future. Bed was really comfy too!
good beach location, lounge chairs were actually available on the beach, beach towels plentiful, decent outside bar and smallish pool with good set up and plenty of lounge chairs.
room was comfortable.
great location, perhaps the possibility of join two rooms for families.
Spacy rooms could be great but we know that you have limited space.
congratulation of beeing a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL
Thank you.
The location is wonderful! We really enjoyed walking on the beach every morning collecting MANY shells. The pool was very refreshing to cool off after our walks. We had a nice view of the water too.
Awesome location right on the beach, everything is at the disposal to make it a great stay. Even had the luxury to stay beyond the advertised time with inclusion of all available extras.
Excellent location on the beach and easy biking distance to sights and restaurants. We stayed with our 2 kids and it was perfect for them. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
